Turbo Manifold – Nissan RB30 – High Mount – ProMod
Nissan RB30 ProMod High Mount Turbo Manifold – 1800HP+
Developed for extreme-power Nissan RB30 drag applications, the Walton Motorsport ProMod High Mount Manifold sits above the Mid Turbo and Big Turbo manifolds as the most specialised RB manifold in the range.
This isn't intended as the next step for a typical high-power street or competition RB. The ProMod manifold is designed specifically around ProMod-frame turbochargers and 1800HP+ engine combinations, where turbocharger size, exhaust flow and outright power capability dictate the entire system.
Nissan RB Turbo Manifold - Built for ProMod Turbochargers
Where the Walton Big Turbo manifold caters for serious 1000HP+ large-frame turbo combinations, the RB30 ProMod takes another substantial step in turbocharger size.
The manifold uses a dedicated ProMod V-Band turbo connection and is designed around turbochargers capable of supporting 1800HP to 2000HP+ combinations.
At this level the turbo system is no longer being packaged around the compromises of a conventional street car – the vehicle is being built around the requirements of the engine and turbocharger.
Nissan RB Turbo Manifold - Developed Specifically for RB30 Drag Builds
The ProMod manifold is designed specifically around the Nissan RB30 and the requirements of extreme-power drag applications.
Its high-mount configuration positions the ProMod turbocharger to provide the space required for the compressor and turbine package, while allowing the intake, exhaust and surrounding systems to be fabricated around the requirements of the vehicle.
This is a purpose-built manifold for dedicated drag cars and similarly uncompromised competition applications, rather than a general-purpose RB high-mount solution.
Nissan RB Turbo Manifold - Wastegate & Boost Control
Controlling boost becomes increasingly demanding as exhaust mass flow and turbocharger capacity increase.
The ProMod manifold uses Walton Motorsport's high-priority wastegate arrangement, designed to provide the wastegate with strong access to exhaust flow through the collector.
The current configuration uses a 50 mm high-priority arrangement with a 60 mm wastegate port, supplied without a flange fitted to allow the final wastegate specification to be matched to the turbo system.
Nissan RB Turbo Manifold - Which RB Manifold?
The Walton Motorsport RB range covers three distinctly different levels of turbo system:
Mid Turbo High Mount – up to approximately 1000HP, with compact packaging and response as priorities.
Big Turbo High Mount – 1000HP+, for G40/G42, Precision 7675+, BorgWarner S300 and comparable large-frame turbochargers.
RB30 ProMod High Mount – 1800HP+, specifically for ProMod-frame turbochargers and dedicated extreme-power RB30 combinations.
The ProMod isn't simply a larger version of the other two. It is intended for a fundamentally different level of engine and vehicle build.
Nissan RB Turbo Manifold - Building an RB30 ProMod Turbo System
At this power level, the manifold should be treated as one component of a completely integrated turbo system.
Turbocharger, wastegate, exhaust, intake, charge system, engine specification, fuel system and engine management all need to be engineered around the intended combination.
If you're building an extreme-power RB30 and aren't sure whether the Big Turbo or ProMod manifold is appropriate, contact Walton Motorsport before ordering to discuss the engine, turbocharger and intended application.
Turbo Manifold – Nissan RB30 – High Mount – ProMod - 50mm High Priority/60mm Port Size (NO Flange Fitted) is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.

Built to Last. Backed for Life.
A lifetime warranty is easy to offer. Building a turbo manifold that's unlikely to ever need it is the hard part.
You can find the full details of the Walton Motorsport Warranty HERE
Every Walton Motorsport manifold is engineered to withstand the extreme temperatures, vibration and abuse that come with high-performance street and race applications. From material selection and fabrication to our cast collectors and proven designs, durability is built into every product.
The biggest inconvenience of a failed manifold isn't the repair—it's the downtime, the labour to remove it, and the event or track day you might miss. That's why our focus has always been on preventing failures before they happen, not simply replacing parts after they do.
We're proud to stand behind every manifold we manufacture with a Lifetime Warranty. While no mechanical component is indestructible, our goal has always been simple: build products that earn your trust by performing reliably for years to come.
Because when you choose Walton Motorsport, the last thing you should be worrying about is your manifold.
Material Selection
Every Walton Motorsport manifold starts with carefully selected 304 stainless steel tubing. Not all 304 stainless is manufactured to the same standard, and the quality of the tubing plays a critical role in the durability of the finished product.
Turbo manifolds are subjected to thousands of extreme heat cycles throughout their life. Lower-quality tubing can fatigue over time, and we've seen inferior materials crack or split along the welded seam under these conditions. That's why we specify the exact tube grade and wall characteristics we know will perform reliably in demanding street and motorsport applications.
Our cylinder head flanges are designed in-house and precision cut using modern fibre laser technology, providing exceptional dimensional accuracy and repeatability. Compared to traditional CO₂ laser cutting, fibre laser cutting delivers cleaner edges and tighter tolerances, ensuring an accurate fit and consistent sealing.
Manufacturing Process
Port-Matched Flange Construction
Rather than simply welding the runners to the face of the flange, Walton Motorsport machines each runner to pass through the flange before it is TIG welded from both sides. The ports are then hand-finished to produce a smooth, uninterrupted transition from the cylinder head into the runner.
This manufacturing method delivers several important advantages:
- Increased weld strength and long-term durability.
- Improved gas flow by eliminating abrupt transitions.
- A smoother change from the oval exhaust port to the round runner.
- Reduced turbulence for improved exhaust efficiency.
The result is a manifold that is stronger, flows better, and is built to withstand years of hard use.
Cast Merge Collector
At the heart of every Walton Motorsport manifold is our proprietary cast merge collector, designed entirely in-house.
Our latest collector design delivers the highest wastegate flow we've achieved while maintaining excellent merge efficiency into the turbine. The internal geometry provides smooth gas transitions, minimising turbulence and helping to reduce exhaust gas temperatures without sacrificing performance.
Unlike fabricated collectors assembled from multiple sections, our one-piece cast design eliminates internal joints and welds within the collector itself. This not only optimises gas flow but also significantly improves structural integrity, reducing the likelihood of collector failures that can damage turbochargers or engines.
Every design decision is made with the same objective: maximum performance, exceptional durability, and complete confidence when pushing your engine to its limits.
