WOSP Alternators

In the world of high-performance and dependable alternators, WOSP Alternators stand out as a top choice. These exceptional alternators have earned a solid reputation for their superior quality and unrivaled performance in a wide range of applications.

200 Series Alternator

200 Series refers to ‘older technology’ alternators that use round wire on the stators. These are generally direct replacements for OEM alternators and the smaller / lower output race alternators.

300 Series Alternator

300 Series refers to the ‘latest technology’ alternators that use square wire (segment conductor ‘hairpin’) wire on the stators. These super-efficient units can yield large outputs and Wosp manufactures most of the alternator cases in-house from billet, in order to offer a wide range of ‘plug & play’ alternators. The High Output or “HO” versions offer increased output that is yielded at higher rpm therefore ‘HO’ 300 Series units often need 1.5-2 times more speed for output and cooling. They are less efficient than a standard unit at low rpm.
