10 Questions with Phil Morrison

Driftworks Phil Morrison

First up in our “10 questions with…” series we have Phil Morrison, a man who needs no introduction in the world of Drifting. But for those on the outside, Phil is one of longest serving competitors on the British Drift Championship grid. Phil has been known for his unusual builds, the original S15 featured some ground breaking features for a car of its time, and has been more recently replaced with the DW86, a Toyota Corolla AE86 originally built from the crazy idea of combining a Nascar and the iconic AE86.

Driftworks Phil Morrison

WM – Who is Phil Morrison?

Owner of Driftworks Ltd & I guess probably the last of the oldschool still competing in drifting.

WM – We all know the DW86, But what do you drive to work?

Mostly my ‘midlife crisis’ cars 😉 : 991 Porsche 911GT3 or LP640 Murcielago

WM – What is your favourite modification/upgrade on the DW86?

It has to be the engine / drivetrain really. It’s what makes the car so ridiculous.

Driftworks DW86

WM – What result or moment are you most proud of?

I won the 2006 D1GB series which was judged throughout the season by Japanese D1 drivers.

WM – If you weren’t a drifter, what would you be doing?

Not sure. I have no doubt I’d still be building cars for some other pointless yet fun activity.

WM – What’s your favourite track to drift?

In the UK at the moment I think it’s Rockingham. It’s just a shame it’s so terrible for spectating.

WM – What do you do in the off season to prepare?

Mostly drink beer and eat pizza, but on occasion, come up with stupid (and often expensive) changes to make to the cars & team.

WM – Who is your biggest threat to the BDC title this year?

Richard Grindrod & Martin Richards are the hungriest most talented guys to watch out for in 2017 in my opinion. They just happen to be my team-mates.

Phil Morrison vs Aleksander Katarovski

WM – What one thing could you not go without at a Drift Competition?

My mates.

WM – If you were in charge of professional drifting, what one thing would you change?

For the first time in many many years I think we have the right man at the helm of British competition. Currently I don’t think there’s anything I would change, and there’s certainly nothing I could do better.

What is that JWL-T and VIA logo on my Cosmis Wheels?

Cosmis Wheels Markings

We have been asked a few times what the markings on Cosmis Wheels mean, so we have decided to decipher all the markings for you guys.

Cosmis Wheels

We have based this post around the flagship XT206r Model which is the split 6 spoke design you see adorning everything from BMWs to Fredrik Oksnevad’s Drift Allstars Toyota Soarer.

   Cosmis Wheels

The above is the most obvious, but its the brand of the wheels, lovingly crafted into the wheel itself so that there is no mistake what brand this is

Cosmis Wheels XT206r

Again a fairly simple one, XT-206R is the model designation. We often get calls where the customer dosn’t know what model product they have, Cosmis makes it easy and precise

Cosmis Wheels Kiki Design

“Kiki Design”…. Whats a Kiki? Well a Kiki is infact Kiki Sak Nana of Redbull Drift team fame, The design part, well that just means Kiki designed the style, which applies to the XT-206R, XT-006R and the S5R. For those of us in the UK who have been involved in Drifting forever, you may remember Kiki from Option Motorsport? No? Well here’s a very old video to keep you entertained briefly.

Cosmis Wheels JLL-T

Those markings read “VIA” and “JWL-T”, the latter means Japan Light alloy Wheel, and is a standard that the wheels must pass for road use in Japan, Much like Germanys TUV approval, “-T” references trucks and busses, although we don’t recommended running Cosmis Wheels on your Truck or Bus, we can say that they pass the standards as a form of next level certification and strength over just JWL. VIA is a marking to show that the product is registered as passing JWL standards. What this means to our customers in the UK is that Cosmis Wheels are tough and more importantly, safe.

Cosmis Wheels Showcase – The Cosmis R1

Cosmis Wheels

Cosmis R1

The Cosmis R1 is a popular choice due to its higher offset than Cosmis Wheels are traditionally known for, The Cosmis R1 is available in 18×9.5″ ET35 and 18×10.5″ with an ET of 30, this makes it a much more arch friendly option for those of you there who cannot fit the low offset wheels such as the S1, XT206r and XT006r. Cosmis Wheels R1

The R1 comes in 2 finishes, the Hyper Bronze and then the Black, the Black however is a super high glossy black that has to be seen to be appreciated. The 9.5″ has a sublte concave whereas the 10.5″ comes in with a much deeper concave whilst maintaining the higher offset the R1 is based around.

What not many people know is that Cosmis Wheels are the wheel choice of Rent4Ring the Nurburgrings premier rental company and their wheel of choice is the Cosmis R1, chosen for its durability on the green hell.

The R1 is currently only stocked in 5×114.3 however we do offer blank wheels that we can have drilled into almost any PCD opening the range to many more platforms.

Cosmis Wheels on a R32 Skyline

Cosmis Wheels R32 Skyline

We came across this video that shows Jordan Paul Rasmussen fitting a set of Cosmis XT006r wheels to his Nissan Skyline R32 GTR, as shown in the video Jordan faces a common problem on Nissans where the front brake caliper hits the spokes of the wheel. This happens due the concave design of the wheels, combined with the offset of the brake caliper. the issue is easily remedied with a small spacer.

The Wheels used on Jordans Skyline R32 are Cosmis XT006r 18×9.5 ET10 in White and are available HERE

Kirsty Widdrington – IDC Round 5 Mondello Park “The Final Flood”

Kirsty Widdrington – IDC Round 5 Mondello Park “The Final Flood”

In the words of Kirsty,

“After Round 4 being an emotional roller coaster for myself I was really looking forward to getting back out in Syril at the final round of our adventure over in Ireland this season which has had up’s & down’s for us. I really wanted us to flex our muscles & show that we are a force to be reckoned with & leave a mark.
As always my fantastic & supportive partner & chief mechanic David had already got Syril to the track on Thursday day time , prepped Syril & put the gazebo up etc, Then I arrived at Mondello Park on the Thursday night bright, breezy & ready for action. It was great to catch up with the other drivers prior to the test/practice day on the Friday.
We woke up to bright sunshine & blue skies (has been a fairly rare occurrence this season) so it was a pleasure to see, after signing on & drivers briefing of the track layout ready for tomorrow & Syril being scrutineering we were ready to rock! But first a walk of the track is always important to check out the key areas & visualise your line prior to getting on the track in your car.

kirstie-widdrington
Friday’s practice felt amazing, we were relaxed & in the zone. (As you can tell by the picture below also like a kid in a sweet shop with excitement)
With a bone dry track we were creating some new clouds of tyre smoke & switching between the lead lane & chase lane to gain some great practice with the crazy Irish boys.
Syril was looking as swish as ever!
Friday’s practice saw us gently “running the wall” like a demon, thus gently un-pealing Syril’s bumper off of him & leaving the lightest of wall scrapes on my specially made carbon fibre end plates. *Video evidence available upon request* He He
A few stitches later & Syril was as good as new (well very nearly except for his oranges & lemon cable tied stitching)
I love meeting the fans but having them ask to help polish Syril was a first for me – bless them 
So they carried out an amazing job then we took a photo of us all together. They were such lovely boys & so interested in Syril & myself – this was the first drift event that they had physically attended.

kirstie-widdrington1
A while later one of the boys came running back asking if I would sign his new hat that they had just purchased specially.
Of course it was my pleasure to do this & I also let them sit in Syril to gain the full experience & feeling of the inside of a competition car.
Saturday morning came & from the early hours the weather was terrible & sadly it did not get any better as the day went on.
All of the drivers went out for our morning practice session prior to qualifying to get a feel for the soaked track with all of the rubber that was laid down yesterday to make final adjustments to the set-up’s ready for qualifying – but with 69 drivers in this class alone seat time was limited thus most drivers only saw 4 practice laps in this 1.5 hours session.
As you can see the conditions on track were atrocious & it was a great test of man & machine (or in my case woman & machine) really working as one! So we had to push the boundaries in the practice session to gauge how far we could go.
So into qualifying we went & to pass the time whilst waiting in the queue it would have been rude not to do a #startlineselfie plus I was also trying to keep my nerves at bay & to a minimum as this track had caught me out massively in the wet at Round 3 on the very 1st corner as it is like ice once wet!
Lap 1 qualifying was disappointing for me as it was not as good as we had been in practice as I was slightly off of clip 5 & also clip 8… So this run gave me a mere 54 points.
I had to do better so I gave myself a talking to & Lap 2 qualifying was much better on the clipping points & boxes which gained us a 69 point run sitting us in 14th position currently until everyone had finished their battles.

kirstie-widdrington2
So with 69 drivers the anxious wait carried on until we had a drivers briefing to ascertain who had qualified for the Top 32 battles.
So off to drivers briefing & I had done it finally after all drivers had qualified (with some big names in Ireland not even qualifying due to spins) We had qualified in 20th position & so on to find out who we had in battles.
I was paired up with a guy called Dan Moorhead who it later transpires was an ex-judge & ex-pro class driver. From all of the feedback I was given about Dan’s driving it was going to be a tough cookie to crack but Syril & I were up for the challenge.
Off to the battle field we went it was Syril vs Dan Moorhead’s burgundy & green R32 Skyline with an ex-pro driver at the helm.
kirstie-widdrington3
Drivers find different ways to cope with nerves & these two lads certainly made me smile & relax.
Our first battle was a tightly run battle with a few minor mistakes on both sides, After both runs we sat with baited breath at the finish line waiting to hear who had one, who was parked up for the day or if we were to run a OMT (One More Time)
After what felt like 10 minutes (but was probably only 3) the judges had made their decision, it was too close for them to call it so a OMT was to go ahead.
With my adrenaline pumping & the fact that I have taken Dan to a OMT I was pumped & could see a win if I could keep it all together so back to the start line we went.
So with Dan leading into the 1st of our re-run’s I stupidly missed my initiation point as I was too focused on Dan & what he was doing thus causing me to over rotate on the 1st corner but managing to carry on the run. (We live & learn)
The 2nd run which saw me leading was much better than the 1st battle lead run but without Dan making a mistake it was his for the taking – obviously his pit crew advised him to make a safe run behind me & then he has it in the bag.
This was the case & sadly I was knocked out of the competition but still happy that we had left a mark & that people in Ireland are now aware of “Kirsty & Syril”

British Drift Championship Rd4 – Lydden Hill

This is the event we have been looking forward to all year, Lydden Hill for the second time in the calender, however this time to make it more challenging, The British Drift Championship team decided to run the backwards with the most technically challenging line they could find!

Competing this weekend under the Walton Motorsport flag would be:

Lee Barker – Midnight Motorsport

Danny Grundy – Motor parts World

Matt Carter – Japspeed

Pro Am on Saturday would see Lee Barker compete with Danny Grundy, Both Drivers pushed hard in practice and qualifying, with Danny Grundy ending up in 2nd Qualifying spot.

BDC Rd4 Danny Grundy

Lee Barker in the Cosmis Wheels equipped skyline would be up against the bonkers Diesel Mercedes Estate in his first battle of the top 32, With the Diesel making a few mistakes to let lee enter the top 16 where he would face Lewis Baker to make the commentators job as hard as possible. again Lee Emerged victorious to face up to Ollie Evans who Lee had previously competed against in Drift Outlaws last season. Ollie had been putting in some big runs all day, really throwing the car into the big corner with maximum angle. Sadly Lee could not match Ollies excellent runs and Ollie would continue on to become the winner of Round 4, passing Danny Grundy in the Kinzuru Kits S14 who would end his day with an incredible second place, which puts Danny in the position of Series leader going into Round 5 at Anglesey.

BDC Rd4 Danny Grundy

Pro category on Sunday would not only see Matt Carter out on track but also Danny Grundy having earned the right to compete following yesterdays excellent result. Matt Carter put in two very strong qualifying runs to take the second place qualifying position and skip straight to the top 16 with the Pro category’s slightly different format, this would leave Danny Grundy who did his best to break his Kinzuru Kits Vertex Style rear bumper in his qualifying run to face up against Dany Nevile all the way from Dubai in the top 24 battles. Sadly Danny managed to spin against the V8 S14 of Dany Nevile and lost his first battle, leaving our Pro hopes solely on Matt Carter who would knock out the Dubai’s Samer Khadra, followed by Wayne Keeber in the Toyota Soarer, to face up against Mark Huxley in the retro Celica, Matt put down 2 fantastic runs but Huxley just has the edge leaving Matt Carter just off the podium in 4th place

Teeside Driftcup

Drift Cup Teesside Rd4

Prologue

With the car running perfectly during round 3 at Three Sister there was nothing repair, which is a first for Walton Motorsport. With no damage to repair we decided to improve upon the door bars of the roll cage with a conversion from the traditional X style to nascar door bars giving the driver more elbow room when moving quickly from lock to lock. With the new and improved door bars complete the dashboard was looking rather shabby but this was easily resolved with some flocking from Steve “stiggy” Evans. Now that the interior was looking refreshed Mike decided to take the car on a practice day at Rockingham in preparation for Drift Cup Rd 4 at Teeside. Mikes tutor for the day would be Matt Carter of Team Japspeed, with some pointers from Matt, Mikes driving was improving until disaster struck, a drift train resulted in Mike heading straight into the side of a E36 BMW ending the practice day prematurely.

Walton Motorsport Crash

The damage repairs to the S13 began with straightening the bent chassis legs, luckily as the suspension turrets are reinforced from the roll cage they remained true, once the chassis legs were back to their original location work could start fitting the spare radiator and intercooler. The next point attention to finish off the crash repairs would be to remake the tubular front end and get the new body panels fitted back to look as it did previously and ready for the next drift cup event that weekend.

The Event

Practice was underway on Saturday Morning on the smaller West Track at Teeside Autodrome, Mike headed out and quickly got into the swing of things on the tricky course, Putting in great practice runs Mike was feeling confident for qualifying in the warm weather we were unusually having, Out for the first qualifying run and Mike came past clip 2 at nearly 90degrees, straight away we knew there was an issue as he went into clip 3 and nearly spun. Talking after the run we concluded that with the weather cooling down since practice, a long wait between practice and qualifying and the fact that a quiet and well organised practice session had resulted in almost continuous laps meant that the rear tyres had cooled down considerable from their sticky practice state reducing grip levels significantly. A drop in tyre pressure was needed for qualifying run 2. Out on run 2 and Mike came through clip 2 again with huge angle but managed to hold together a run with a little clip of the tyre wall at the final clip. Was it enough to get into the top 32 though? During the briefing the results were read out and as they got to around qualification place 28 we thought Mike was out, but then we heard “23rd place Mike Walton”

Drift Cup Teeside Rd4

Mike was a little concerned for top 32 battles as he Walton Motorsport S13 has just under 500 horsepower and quite a large amount of mechanical grip. The Problem was that Mike had to carry a lot of speed in order to be able to get round the final hairpin and up the hill to the clipping point. This will not be easy following a slower car. Which unfortunately was to be the case today in the shape of Kynne Obrien in his S13. The first battle was so close it went one more time, which is becoming a regular occurrence with Mike and Drift Cup, But sadly Mike just couldn’t pull it together to beat Kynne and lost out in the top 32.

Three Sisters

Drift Cup Three Sisters

Will the car be ready? We were certainly unsure but Greg from Protuner wasn’t sweating (or at least he didn’t show it). As you may remember we had some mechanical issues at Norfolk arena from round 2. The extent of the damage was that the SR20 from the Walton Motorsport S13 had broken 2 rockers, cracked a few more and destroyed a Camshaft. Not usually a problem but when the Camshaft had to be ordered from Japan, and the Fast and Furious overnight service was unavailable it meant a long wait with the Cam only arriving on the Wednesday before the event and Pro Tuner worked through the night so we could collect the car the following day. Fast forward to Friday lunchtime and we were off to Three Sisters in Wigan, Sat Nav was estimating 3 hours, yet it took closer to 7 1/2 thanks to M6 Traffic. We eventually rolled into the paddock, got the tent assembled and headed back to the hotel to get some sleep.

Drift Cup Three Sisters

Drift Day came and we were ready for action, the track layout had been changed to a layout that suited the higher powered cars more and the (untested) S13 was ready for the action. after a few warm up laps Mike was throwing down some fantastic runs, with the S13 really coming alive in the 2nd half of the track. But just before practice finished something didn’t feel right on the car. Rolling back to pits there was alot of rattling and after jacking the car up the wheels would only rotate backwards. Fortunately it just turned out to be the brake caliper trying break free of the chassis, 1 new bolt later and the car was ready to rock. Practice finished and the heavens opened, it poured down, the track was flooded. A quick decision was made to switch from out the usual Pace tyres to the super popular Westlake Sport RS to get that extra bit of grip in the slippery conditions. A great advantage, or so we thought as the sun suddenly appeared whilst waiting for the first qualifying run and began rapidly drying the track. This was bad news for Mike as he had the super grippy tyres at a low pressure. Unfortunately it was too late to change and Mike put down a good first qualifying run with a few handbrake corrections playing it safe to stay on track and not score a Zero, after the first run, Mike decided the car felt great and elected not to change tyres as he felt he could now push hard and put in an great run, It wasn’t to be though, the car struggled to break traction and made the run very hard work for Mike. Drift Cup Three Sisters Back in the pits we went about restoring the car to earlier settings and refitting the Pace tyre ready for the first battle after a 5th place qualifying result. Mike was up against Steven Knott of Devilish Drifters in his Nissan S14a. Steven really pushed his lower powered car against the near 500 horsepower S13 but sadly for Steven and his team this was not enough and Mike emerged victorious and on to the top 16 battles where he would face Scott Sargant in his V8 powered E30 BMW, This would be a good battle having seen how well Scott was driving in practice. Mike lead first and both cars entered well at turn one, but just after clip 2 the BMW spun putting Mike at a 10-0 advantage. In the chase run Mike played it safe rather than opting to push his luck, A tactic that played out and allowed Mike into the top 8 where he would face Mark Illand. After a close battle the judges decided they wanted more and it was a one more time. disappointingly the one more time would not go in Mikes favour and the Judges decided that Mark would continue through to the the next battle, where he would eventually come 2nd overall to series leader Mark Webb. See you all at Teeside on 30th July for more action!

E46 M3 Track Car Exhaust

Sam Ratcliffe E46 M3 Estoril Blue

Sam Ratcliffe came in with his Estoril Blue E46 M3 Track car for a new undercar exhaust system. He wanted to release a little more power from the engine as well as to save weight. The Old system weighed in at 33kg and the new system saves just over half that at 16kg. The System is made from 304 Stainless steel for durability

Ford Escort RS Turbo Exhaust Replacement

Kat Smith Escort RS Turbo

This week we had the pleasure of working on a freshly rebuilt/restored Mk4 Ford Escort RS Turbo, Now when the car was rebuilt it was refitted with its pre restoration aftermarket exhaust system, Kat, the owner wanted us to replace the system to bring it back up to the standard that the rest of the car now is.

Once we had the Escort up in the air, we found that the system already on the car was actually made quite well. It had just been scraping along the floor a few too many times. Upon investigation we discovered that the the factory exhaust mounts were not really up the job of a larger diameter than stock exhaust, which is also heavier. We decided with permission from Kat to add two extra mounting points to stabilize the system and eradicate the previous problems of this older system. The end result is a very rigid system that does not increase any vibrations or knocking into the cabin of the car. We also managed to tuck the system further up into the bodywork of car, again to gain extra ground clearance. There’s a few other little tricks used on the system which you can see in the video.

Drift Cup Rd2 – Adrian Flux Arena

S13 Broken

This weekend was a mix of highs and lows, with the car sporting a new look courtesy of a set of Cosmis Racing XT-006r wheels, a Kinzuru Kits V2 Rocket Bunny style arch set and with a fresh coat of paint in our signature Walton Super Turquoise from Dave Bastin of DB Paint it was certainly ready for action. With the car ready for the competition so early, on Friday evening we actually went out to the local pub for a few drinks and dinner, making an unusual change from our marathons struggling to get the car ready into the small hours of the morning before the events.

Saturday Morning, we were up and ready for action, all we needed to do is get to the Adrian Flux Stadium in Kings Lynn from our Buckinghamshire HQ. Setting off in good time we quickly came to a standstill on the M25 due to a Volvo loosing its tyre in the middle lane and the police closing the road (hopefully that wasent a sign of things to come). Luckily the motorway was back flowing at its usual slow pace within about half an hour and we just rolled into the pits moments before the drivers briefing started. Our pits was setup next to our good friends at Team 1340 inlcuding Adam Elders Kinzuru Kitted S14 and Andy Stroud in the incredible M5 powered Skyline R34.2. To the other side we had Hayden Cruickshank and of Flat out Factory. We knew we were in good place to borrow a tool or two if we needed it, there is always something that gets forgotten. Out onto track for practice and it was quite quickly apparent that this is one slippery track, For those of you who haven’t been to the Adrian Flux Stadium, the track is surrounded by a dirt speedway track, and as a result a lot of dust makes it way on to the inner concrete surface reducing grip levels even further. Mike headed round on his first practice session and quickly finds out that this track is not as easy to drive as it looks. Mike was struggling to stay on line as well as having to constantly adjust suspension and tyre pressures after the suspension modifications that had been made between rounds Drift Cup Rd2 Between practice and qualifying a few tweaks to the suspension settings, some invaluable advice from some of the spectating BDC Pro class drivers and of course nothing to loose as with his current driving he would be lucky to qualify, Mike hit the track and pulled off a fantastic run to score 81.7 putting him into 2nd place behind Round 1 winner Mark Webb. In those two qualifying runs Mike went from near bottom to near top of group. With a newfound enthusiasm for the track Mike and the team checked the car over, cleaned out the air filter as the amount of dust was clogging it up which may be the reason behind some of our competitors misfiring problems? Drift Cup rd2 First battle and Mike was up against Mike Jackson in the Jackson Competition Engines Subaru Impreza, Incredibly both drivers were very evenly matched and ended up running one more time, and then One more time for the second and final time. The judges called that Mike Walton had won the battle of the Mikes! Battle of the Mikes

Mikes Top 16 battle was against one of the few female drifters, Zanna Young in her BMW E36 (see the write up of Zanna on http://www.driftcup.co.uk/zanna-young-2/). Sadly on the first Mikes Walton Motorsport S13 began missfiring causing an almost complete loss of power, Mike called in the 5 minute rule and the now combined effort of Team Walton/Team 1340 rushed to the Nissan to try and rectify the problem with a change of coilpacks, unfortunately this was not the problem which put Mike out and Zanna into the top 8 battles, where she again would come out ontop and go on to place 4th overall after a third place battle with top qualifier Mark Webb.

S13 Broken

All in all we had a great weekend, after the disappointment of the poor practice runs, followed by the highs of 2nd place qualifier and Mikes favourite ever battle against Mike Jackson, followed by the low of the mechanical failure. Bring on Rd3 at Three Sisters Wigan on 2nd July!

Walton Motorsport Nissan 180sx S13 on Cosmis XT-006r

This weekend we cmompleted the 2016 rebuild of our Nissan 180sx S13. For 2016 the car now features Version 2 Rocket Bunny arches and a brand new set of Cosmis XT-006r in 18×9.5 and 18×11. Most noticeably is the switch from the car being white to Walton Super Turquoise. Various tweeks have been made all round. and Drift Cup rd1 was a test of the cars mechanical ability of which it performed faultlessly.

A Weekend in April

Paul Cheshire in the G35

What can we say about this weekend other than Walton Motorsport powered cars took some great results.

On track this weekend we had Matt Carter of Team Japspeed, Paul “Polo” Cheshire and Lee Barker of Midnight Motorsport on track for Japfest at the legendary Silverstone circuit in Northamptonshire. Over in Ireland Kirsty Widdrington and Keilan Woods were both competing at Mondello Park for Irish Drift Championship round 1. All drivers have full Walton Motorsports Manifolds and exhaust systems on their cars.

Keilan Woods

Keilan had not driven his car in 7 months but that did not stop him putting together a storming qualifying run to score a very high 90.08 in his first event of the year. This result allowed Keilan to qualify in 4th place, Keilan pushed hard in the battles through to the top 16 but unfortunately lost out by the smallest of margins to Paul McCarthy in the very bright BMW E36

Keilan Woods

Kirsty Widdrington

New season new start and a very new look for Syril the Silvia. Kirsty has had extensive work carried out over the off season and unfortunately that plagued her practice runs with problems, Not giving up Kirsty managed to borrow a fuel pump and got straight back to it.

Kirsty Widdrington in Syril the Silvia

Lee Barker

Lees first time against the big boys of BDC, having just gained his BDC license for the Pro Am category in the British Drift Championship, Lee took full advantage and jumped in at the deep end in the Japfest. Sadly a damaged radiator ended Lees day early.

Paul Cheshire

Paul Cheshire has decided to take a step back from competitive drifting for 2016, but is has been attending “fun” events such as Spring Matsuri and now the Japfest competition. Paul put in an outstanding performance at Japfest showing the crowds that he is still a contender with the best. Paul put together some outstanding runs with superfast entrys and lots and lots of smoke. This was enough to put Paul into third place overall.

Matt Carter

New team and a new start for Matt Carter, With his new geometry setup Matts car has taken a fresh lease of life and truely showed some of the best driving we have seen from Matt. The Judges would also agree to put Matt on the top step of the podium along with ex team mate and close friend Paul Cheshire.
